When confirming the use of electric motorcycles by manufacturers, Zheng Wencan said that Taoyuan is the fastest in the country in replacing two-stroke motorcycles, and it is also the city with the highest proportion of electric motorcycles.
CMC e-moving will launch next year the world's first 3C fast-charging white-brand electric motorcycle, which can run 40 kilometers in just 10 minutes of charging. This brand-new electric scooter will be manufactured in Taoyuan. Today, Taoyuan Mayor Zheng Wencan was specially invited to give a charging demonstration for the new car, symbolizing Taoyuan City's move towards a green energy city and demonstrating a new generation of technological leadership.

Mayor Zheng Wencan said that the industrial greening action plan promoted by the government includes energy conservation and carbon reduction, boiler replacement, and the purchase of green transportation vehicles such as electric motorcycles. Although the subsidy funds are not large, with the support of enterprises, they can achieve greater results. In the future, we hope to establish incentives to guide the development of the overall market, and not rely solely on legislation and coercion, otherwise it will easily cause public resentment.

According to the Taoyuan City Low-Carbon Technology Industry Subsidy and Incentive Plan, the Municipal Economic and Development Bureau subsidized a total of 10 manufacturers, with a maximum subsidy of 500,000 yuan for each company. Zheng Wencan said that green production in the low-carbon technology industry is an important indicator for promoting a cleaner, more environmentally friendly, more efficient and more circular economy. Taiwan has advantages in management and process improvement in industrial manufacturing and production. If it can cooperate with Industry 4.0 in green production, it will help form Taiwan's next advantage in the manufacturing industry.

In addition, in order to improve the national air pollution problem, the government has accelerated the replacement of industrial boilers. Each boiler and pipeline are replaced with a maximum subsidy of 700,000 yuan. This year, Taoyuan City subsidized the replacement of 36 boilers. In terms of improving green transportation, manufacturers also accelerated the proportion of electrified locomotives, purchasing a total of 396 electric locomotives.

In order to support local industries and promote environmentally friendly green transportation, the Taoyuan City Government encourages the replacement of old motorcycles and provides generous subsidies and related policies for the purchase of electric motorcycles. Mayor Zheng Wencan said that there are more than 200,000 two-stroke motorcycles in many counties and cities, and there are about 56,000 left in Taoyuan. The elimination rate of two-stroke motorcycles is the fastest in the country.

Zheng Wencan said that Chung Hwa Automotive e-moving has been purchased and used by Taoyuan City’s mayor, patrol team, cleaning team, etc. The city government has also promoted the use of electric scooters through corporate group purchases. At the same time, charging stations and battery exchange stations will be added to upgrade the city's electric motorcycle usage environment to improve the user-friendly environment.
