Startups innovate again!

eTreego, a new startup incubated by ITRI, announced a 120 million yuan joint venture with Shilin Electric and Hotai Automobile Group, two major groups under Yangde Group, to establish GochabarChien ChinPin, chairman of eTreego, said that Gochabar’s competitive advantage is that it follows the “TSMC model” and does not compete with customers. “By providing good design and services, the brand is recognized by customers.”Combining the resources of the two major groups and the technical energy of eTreego, Gochabar is positioned as a "charging service system integrator" CSI. It does not have its own brand, but provides engineering construction services, charging management systems, and regular maintenance services, and enters the B2B charging service business.

In 2017, the new spin-off company "eTreego" has the unique technology of " the non-uniform current charging control technology". eTreego Chien ChinPin President said that eTreego is the only equipment manufacturer in Taiwan that provides a complete product line of electric 2-wheel, 4-wheel and 8-wheel. Over the years, we have adopted OEM and ODM development strategies and invested more than 30 million yuan to undertake technology transfer of scientific research and development results and overall supporting equipment systems. It has been able to provide OEM use to many car manufacturers and about 10 operators. In terms of market layout, the United States, Japan, and Southeast Asia are currently the main export markets, among which the United States will be the key development market in 2023. From the perspective of product export distribution, the electric two-wheelers are mainly in Japan and Southeast Asia, the electric four-wheelers are in the United States and Japan, and the eight-wheeler charging piles are mainly in the Taiwan electric bus market. The cumulative shipment power of automobile and motorcycle chargers has reached 30,000 and 10,000kw. It has now received a three-year supply order from an energy company in the United States, covering California, Florida, and Texas. In the first year, the shipment target is 1,000 super fast chargers.

Gochabar has announced that in the next five years, the market share of charging piles serving Mobility Service Providers (MSP) and Charging Point Operators (Charge Point Operators, CPO) will exceed 50%; the share of serving new community buildings will reach 30% above.First: Gochabar will not directly compete with charging service operators and charging station operators on the market, but will rely on its "system integration" advantage to explore more potential cooperation opportunities;Second: Aiming at areas with charging needs such as large technology factories, restaurants, department stores, and community buildings, we design a management platform for operators to use to solve the three major charging management issues including power overload and over-schedule, system development difficulty, and complex management of community buildings. Pain points.
